Asking yourself a simple question (What do I want to learn?) every week will help you stop and think for a moment about what is most important to you. It's something that's been helping me learn Russian. If you take a moment to stop and set a goal for yourself every week, you will notice the progress you are making and, in turn, become more inspired by how quickly you are learning! You will be surprised at how this feeling of success will motivate you to learn even more.
Each learner has different goals and, therefore, different approaches to language learning. But some tips and tools are likely to help most of them.
Let's begin with the three most important rules:
Be Patient — The most important rule to remember is that learning English is a process. It takes time, and it takes lots of patience!
Make a Plan — It's a very important thing to do. Start with your English learning objectives, and then make a specific plan to succeed. Remember: patience is key to improving your English, so go slowly and have focus.
Make Learning English a habit — It means that you should work on your English every day. It's NOT NECESSARY to study GRAMMAR every day. However, you SHOULD LISTEN, WATCH, READ or SPEAK English every day — even if it's not for a long time. It's much better to learn 10 minutes a day than to study for three hours twice a week.
