It’s true that we all want to speak better in our adopted language, but how much time do we spend writing in it? Writing can help you learn how to construct sentences better, and you can use what you’ve written to speak. Writing gives us time to think and prepare.
I enjoy watching a good film (and even a not-so-good film) regularly. I would class myself as a bit of a film buff, and I’m sure some of you are the same. When I finish watching a film, I use a website, to record it, to give it a rating, and sometimes even write a review.
If you’re a movie-lover, why not open an account there and write occasional reviews. This will give you a platform, an audience to write to, and a topic too. It may even be good preparation for a discussion about the film with other English speakers.
